Bastard. At this rate you're going to miss the wedding ceremony. Yeah, it's actually happening. I guess we'll just have to edit you into the pictures. It's been hell deciding the seating arrangements. Still, it's not complete without you... if you don't make it, we'll just have to set a slice of cake aside at the family table.

Speaking of which, I guess we weren't actually able to run this by you before you left, but - we're adopting Morning Glory into the family, all right? And we're taking her home with us. I'm not taking any objections. She's the big sister now. Everyone's big sister. Because she's smarter than all of us (also not taking objections on that).

You know, someone else from back home showed up? She knows you - I don't know if you're friends, she seems to find you kinda annoying. But then again so does everyone. Scar on her face, and mismatched eyes ring any bells? Kinda rude that you're not here to introduce us properly.

I think the rest of us are doing about as well as we can... there's been some pretty shitty games. Raven started turning dusty and lost an arm, but he's fixed now. And... me and Dad have actually been getting along. Yeah, he's 'Dad' now. It's been really nice actually... I think he misses you. Or maybe he just misses stabbing you.

Either way - I'm going to punch your lights out when you get back. So come back soon.

Inside, is a cowboy hat. But not just any cowboy hat. It looks like it's made of refracted crystal, and there's a switch in the back that turns it on... and suddenly, rainbow light is dancing in every direction.

It's a cowboy hat gadgeteered with a disco lamp.

There's a smaller bundle in tissue paper, inside the hat - with a note. The second gift is instantly recognizable - it's your amulet.

Dad gave this to me when you got transferred. And as much as I love holding onto sentimental items for you two, I figured you should have this back.
